Enhanced-Oil Recovery

Enhanced-oil recovery using a waterflood has been on-going in many parts of the world almost since the start of oil production. The process includes injecting water into the oil reservoir to allow for the increased production of oil. At the present time, HCL has been involved with locating, developing and/or monitoring both fresh and saline groundwater for more than 300 waterflood projects in Alberta.
